Who We Help

Dr. Conca provides intervention tutoring for persons with reading/learning disabilities and for persons not identified with a disability, but who struggle with reading. Children and adults without an identified disability may have ADHD or may be getting school-based tiered reading services and making limited progress. There are many reasons why reading can be difficult.
 

Each individual's specific learning needs shape the intervention. A goal is to promote successful completion of school tasks, while simultaneously, building essential skills and attitudes. We attend to students’ reading motivation and their self-beliefs as learners.
